Memory Cafés for Dementia Patients and Their Caregivers For those with dementia, a “Memory Café” is a gathering of hope that offers stimulation and a warm, inviting atmosphere. THRIVE! worked with LIFE: A Dementia Friendly Foundation and the New Life Assembly of God Church to open the “Memory Cafés” in Wellington. They provide lunch, companionship, music, crafts, games and other activities. The Cafés also feature Putter, the service dog. The Cafés take place every Monday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Church at 108 West Street in Wellington. Donations are appreciated. For more information, go to www.dflife.org or call 440- 935-3506.
